Tumbling Blocks
I made this for a friend of mine when her son was born. It was really very easy compared to some that I've done. Just looking at it makes me want to do some more quilting!
The pattern that I used for this was not the traditional tumbling blocks, but a much easier square version. You take the blue squares and put half square triangles on each corner, and then do the same with the purple. Then you sew the strips together. Below you can see a close up. Christmas Tablerunners
What fun I had putting these together several years ago. I went wild on the christmas fabric and just made them up in a couple weeks.
